On Thursday June 4th 2020, at about 12:15hrs, Station 16 was alerted to the Ed Porky Oliver Golf Course for an MVC reported as a vehicle into the building. Rescue-Engine 16 and A-16 made the response, along with New Castle County Paramedics Medic 8, and Delaware State Police Aviation Trooper 4. Upon arrival units found a golf cart that crashed into the front entrance way of the club house, after the operator suffered a medical issue. Patient was treated and transported to the local trauma center by A-16 and Medic 8. Trooper 4 was recalled from the incident.
