On Tuesday April 22nd at about 18:30hrs the station was alerted along with mutual aid units to the 1400 block of Brook Lane for a house fire. Deputy Chief Edwards arrived on scene and report smoke showing. Squad 16 arrived as the first engine and found a kitchen fire. Mutual aid companies assisted with overhaul and completing searches which proved negative.
