Summary: Responsible for providing emergency medical care, and transport. Ensure that all regulatory requirements and HIPPA compliance are adhered to.
Assemble all ambulance reports (DMERS) and submit according to BLS protocol. Ensure effective operation of all EMS equipment by performing routine checks on tools and equipment in addition to
station duties of house cleaning and fire prevention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following. Other duties
may be assigned to meet business or community needs.

• Provide daily support for the Emergency Medical Technician Team by providing emergency medical care and transport.
• Generate EMS reports with accuracy and precision meeting the standards of all accrediting and regulatory agencies.
• Provide support for trouble-shooting problems in the BLS units.
• Manage the ability to follow the Infection Control Policy and Programs.
• Follow all company SOP’s and SOG’s and have a working knowledge of Quality Assurance.
• Observes established safety guidelines and maintains effectiveness of the company.
• Ability to perform and improve upon procedures and protocols.
• Attention to detail in identification, record keeping and result verification.
• Provide support for regulatory agencies as required.
• Participate in special projects.
• Follow work procedures and processes that support company and departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Certification by the Delaware State Fire Prevention Commission and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as an EMT-Basic, State of Delaware EMT, Healthcare Provider CPR/AED, State of Delaware Driver’s License, and State of Delaware Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Course, Minimum of 2 years’ experience in 911.
