On Friday morning July 10th, 2020 at 05:56hrs, the Station was alerted, along with Station 14, New Castle County Medic 7 and Delaware State Police Trooper 4 to Route 141 in the area of Route 52 for an MVC reported with Entrapment and a vehicle on fire. While units were enroute, they were advised that PD was on scene and confirming the vehicle was on fire with one subject trapped inside. Upon arrival, the vehicle was found to be fully involved. Rescue 14, and Rescue Engine 16 arrived and both crews began to work to extinguish the fire, while removing the passenger side door to access the patient. Once access to the patient was made, an unknown age male was found to be deceased.
